OK, I Admit It

The reason I used to hate Charlie Brooker so much is because I really, really wish I'd written the original Nathan Barley.

It's only taken me six years to admit that. I feel an overwhelming sense of disburdenment. Mingled with a terrible headache.

It's fab, isn't it? Especially the bits about Kilroy in small print. Or just all of it, really.

I remember being very excited to get it each week in - was it in TV Go Home? That was the first internet circulation thingy I ever signed up for. I used to worry that I was not like all those cool Clerkenwell people, but it helped me feel a lot better about it.

Has anyone bought Screen Burn?

Screen burn? Christ - I didn't realise you had to pay for that now! Is there *anything* they won't try to sell?! I prefer blog burn where you obsessively stare at someone's blog for so long it gets burnt onto your brain. That is still free - thank god.
