You heard it here first. Well, unless you read it on Ben Hammersley's blog two weeks ago, in which case you heard it here in another ordinal.

My zodiac iconography stinks, but my French is pretty good

I love woodwork. And bricklaying. Making things with one's hands, instead of just using one's mind, creating intangible words.
I also like driving big vans.
Perhaps I'm in the wrong trade.
Oo, I love driving vans too. I was never happier than when I had my - *cough* - 'antiques' business on eBay, and spent all my time transporting gilt mirrors and manky old sinks between the south of France and England. Couldn't make a living from it, though.
For those who want to catch this wave, I am offering free log-chopping courses at the cello estate. Sustainability is guaranteed; we only cut up dead trees and plant many more than we use.
You will be regaled with cold ginger beer or strong tea (yes, and Earl Grey for you P, sandwiches, cakes and might even be allowed to take some of your log creaions home with you.
Earl Grey is my tea of choice too. Sadly, I fear the joys of log-chopping may interfere with my cricket technique too much.
I don't know about Arabella (well, I do know a bit about Arabella, having read her blog and everything), but I'll gréae to that, IP.
PS vocative plural? So, o oo!, meaning o eggs!?
I'm a bit lost here - just got back from seeing Motorhead and Foo Fighters in Hyde Park - not loud enough but still fucking cool. Wood, modelling, chiselling, skirting - it's ok.
Jesus, I can't even string two words together when I'm not drunk.
Just popped in to say that there is a DPS on Russell Brand in the Observer Review if you haven't already checked him out. And I stand by my assertion.
So is blogging a subject that the thick boys do when the others are doing Latin?
In an early foray into the geek/woodwork crossover , I built a model space-shuttle in second year woodwork. No idea what happened to it, but I'm sure it'll turn up on Bargain Hunt one day and fetch a handsome price at auction for somebody.
I don't like Russell Brand - he's got horrid crack-stare eyes. Although the article was interesting - I didn't know he had such a horrible childhood.
I think he made it up. Look at his name. If it were the Trotts saying this we'd be having the Foxtrot as the new blogging, or have the trots as the new blogging. Or something. It's a con.
