At first I couldn't think of anything to write. Then I thought I would post Three Great Songs About Jesus. But then I could only think of two great songs about Jesus, and one of them wasn't about Jesus, and neither was the other one.
I'll try again tomorrow.

Wikipedia is your friend
It mentions Plastic Jesus!
My favorite song about Jesus is "Jesus Was Way Cool," by King Missile. I also like "Jesus in New Orleans" by Over the Rhine...
Though I'm busy listening to new Interpol at the moment.
Jesus by the Velvet Underground
Jesus Loves Amerika by The Shamen
I Don't Know How To Love Him by Yvonne Elliman (best thing Lloyd Webber ever did)
Plus quite a lot of stuff by Al Green, Johnny Cash, the Swan Silvertones, William Blake, etc
What were the two songs which weren't about Jesus then?
Oh. And Spacemen 3, Walking With Jesus
Erm, so the Two Songs That Aren't Actually About Jesus At All were 'Well (Dusted) For The Millennium' by Giant Sand (relevant lyric: 'Jesus might return...Jesus might return...') and 'The Mercy Seat', by Nick Cave obviously, in which the only relevant lyric is 'The face of Jesus in my soup'.
I know, it's not good, is it? I was just having a sort of southern country gothic moment yesterday and was trying to find a common theme.
Any more suggestions are most welcome.
"Personal Jesus" -Depeche Mode
"Jesus Don't want me for a sunbeam"
Nirvana
The great thing about iTunes is you can type in a keyword and it'll just list all the songs with it in the title. Hurrah! Instant themed compilations.
In my case, including 4 Babybird songs (including 'Jesus is my girlfriend'), Jesusland by Ben Folds, Jesus Wrote a Blank Cheque by Cake, Jesus Hairdo by the Charlatans, Jesus he knows me by Genesis, umpteen mixes of Personal Jesus, My Jesus by Gary Numan, Jesus to a Child by George Michael, I have forgiven Jesus by Morrissey, Selling Jesus by Skunk Anansie and the simple 'Jesus' by Voice of the Beehive.
"Jesus is Doomed" by Nunslaughter.
All these songs sound brilliant (apart from 'Jesus He Knows Me' by Genesis), and what's more they have reminded me of that splendid acid house remix of 'Personal Jesus' that I used to have, and now I have found it again and all is right with the world.
Possibly this is not how one is meant to relate to the earthly incarnation of Our Lord, but screw it, that remix has some fabulous laser noises in it.
Yeah, Plastic Jesus... and (Jesus Hits Like The) Atom Bomb by the Five Blind Boys Of Alabama, but only because I get it mixed up in my head with Fluke's Atom Bomb, which isn't about Jesus.
I sell Christian music for a living... I'm waiting for your post with baited trousers.
Yeeks, Faithless' God Is A DJ has just come on the telly. Spookeh.
I think there's something wrong with me, but the only one I could remember was South Park's Cartman's song:
"...Don't ever leave me, Jesus. I couldn't stand to see you go.
My heart would simply snap, my Lord, if you walked on out that door.
I promise I'll be good to you, and keep you warm at night.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, why don't we just... shut off the lights."
Hymn book is in the post.
The Man Comes Around - that's about God, specifically, but that's the same thing due to the whole unexplainable trinity thing.
And there's a band called nunslaughter? That's genius.
Fi! am trying to find you to invite you to party! It is tonight (saturday) at bodney castle really hope you can make it. left a message on what I think is your number......... sara x
Im not sure why you would want to post songs about Jesus but my teen adores the Marilyn Manson version of Personal Jesus. She just cant understand how I already know lots of the lyrics to all the 'new' songs she enjoys...
Monty Python - Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life is almost about Jesus. But not quite.
How about the frankly magnificent You Don't Know Jesus by Mogwai.
Although, because it has no lyrics, it may not actually be about Jesus....
