Attention, shoppers! Why buy one 'Verdi' dining chair from Habitat for £99.00 minus delivery...
...when you can get FOUR white maple dining chairs from M&S for £74.70 including delivery?
(What's more, with the M&S deal, you and up to three of your chums can play a splendid game of Musical Christine Keeler! Hours of saucy fun!)

well good luck in your present condition. i started learning the cello (long story) just before i got preggers with the twins. by week 32 i had to give up what would, no doubt, have been a brilliant career cos i couldn't reach the blasted thing any more ...
What I'm I going to do with 4 chairs? Where would be I put them for goodness sake?
Exactly. And you can use the money saved to buy Mackeson for putting in the baby's bottle at night. Diluted, I hasten to add.
Is the Habitat chair made out of platinum?
Good tip, P. I have M&S vouchers burning a hole in my pocket, will get down there straight away.
It's all about houses at the moment in the world of blogs, isn't it? We should all do 'Hello' style features with us in our gracious homes...
Oh lord, if you want to check out houses take a look at http://lovelylisting.blogspot.com/
Not only can you get some nice decorating tips *coughs* but you can also wonder at the pix some people use to advertise their house. 'Tis a wonderous thing.
well, that was all vair vair nice. we went straight back there, and i can recommend the pomegranate (sp?) with soda too. i meant to ask you about the chairs but forgot. are you ordering some, then? x
should have gone to IKEA!!! lol!!!
Would that I had room for a dining table (far less chairs) in the cardboard box store I call home.
RG: Ah, I have a similar tale of woe with the cello - my dad made me learn it when I was about 11, but at that age I was so tiny that I could barely get my arms around it, let alone carry it around. I moved on to the clarinet and the oboe before realising that I was rubbish at music no matter what instrument I was trying to play.
Billy: You could, erm, stack them in the corner?
Arabella: Parenting tip noted.
Annie: The M&S homewares sale is on until Tuesday, I think. And yes, despite the credit crunch and the OMG IMMINENT ECONOMIC MELTDOWN, a fair old few of us seem to have bought houses/flats recently: you, me, GSE, Dave...
Jayne: That site is brilliant - thanks for that!
Urbanvox: But the nearest IKEA is at least two counties away! That's four days' ride on horseback, you know.
Dave: Ahh, what you need is the Elle Decoration 'Small Spaces' guide, free with the current issue. I don't recommend you follow the example of some over-trendy Belgians who've put their toilet right next to their bed, which is next to a huge, uncurtained plate-glass window, though. That's all manner of wrong.
I'd be a rubbish Christine Keeler. Fact.
