I saw one of these ads on the tube when I was in London last weekend. I was very tempted to steal it but I thought I might be shot by the CCTV so I didn't.

Shot by the CCTV! I don't like the sound of that. Isn't technology sinister these days?

Saves a fortune in policing, though.

I remember when law and order was maintained by a park keeper with a stick that had a spike on the end.

Or was that just in The Dandy?

The word verfication is "lsbgv" which sounds a bit like an abbreviation for a number of sexual minorities, but I'm a grabbing as straws for the 'v'. Are virgins a sexual minority?

Dave said...

If a minority is anything less than 50% of the population, then, on balance, probably yes.

Ah, Mac DOES have legs. Cunningly concealed though.

Something tells me you've been studying this picture in quite some detail, albert.

Have a nice evening all. It will be so good, I know.

What is this ... Green Wing? Is it your juju?

Ahh, Dave, it's every blogger's (well, mine, and Pash's) favourite filthy 'n' deranged hospital-based sitcom.

If you're over in April you may have the pleasure of seeing some of the second series, which has started out in a promisingly insane fashion.

Not as good as the first series, IMHO...

Merkin! Long time no see! I thought it started out a bit rocky, but the second half was brilliant. From the trailers it looks like normal service will be resumed next week, too. Ahh, give it a bit of time.

Looks like I'll be over in early May, but we'll see. Is it like Scrubs?

patroclus said...

Ahh, London in the Spring, fantastic. I've never really seen Scrubs, but I think GW is probably a lot ruder. It's like a rude, silly sketch-show-with-a-storyline that's loosely set in a hospital. And it's British. Hurrah! More details here

Scrubs is 'tabulous, mind. Currently debating whether to get third series on DVD or wait for price to come down a bit...
