Burning Bright

Got up at 4am to write an essay, but ended up adopting a beautiful tiger instead.

I've only got a tiny flat, so I'm hoping it'll get on alright with the cat.

I'm not sure the dolphins would get on with my tropical fish, and while the idea of a black rhino in my back garden had a certain appeal, I've decided to see how you and your tiger get on before proceeding any further down that road.

Maybe adopt a unicorn instead.

Or a gryphon.

There go my dinner-party plans, then - I don't think my bison would be too chuffed.

Tiger Tiger, burning bright
In the wardrobe, on the right

(The essays are on the left, literally and politically).

Tim, I hate those people that insist on keeping unicorns in London. Poky flats are no places for beasts that should be allowed to run free. Plus they're always getting in my way when I'm trying to walk to work.

Is this environmentally friendly? What are the CO2 emissions from burning felines?

Oh, and can I adopt a Taiga please?

Dave, behave.

(I had an adopted seal once.)

It has indeed, Bella. And it's only Monday lunchtime.

Mmm, lunchtime...

the tiger jacuzzi look very comfortable.

and tim, u think that beats the elephant in bangkok?

Pash: anything the tiger can come up with will be a vast improvement on anything I've managed so far.

It's a bit like the infinite number of monkeys in the back room with an infinite number of typewriters - only it's one tiger in a wardrobe with no typewriter. Perhaps I should buy it a laptop, and maybe throw the cat in to do a little light proof-reading.

Hmm, I'm starting to feel slightly delirious.

I might just have to adopt Etin, he's a little smasher. Look at him!

Ahh, the lovely Prolix. Come on in and make yourself at home.

Oo, it's C4 forum-blogworld crossover madness! Again!

A tiger eh? Well that's all well and good P, but why don't you tell the nice people about the Scorpion Pit you've been trying to build in the office, hmmmm?
