The Contracting World Atmosphere

More from the Network Cornwall mailing list. I'm at a loss to understand what's being recommended here, unless it's some sort of belly button fluff alchemy:

"Releasing, revealing and restorative - just had the first of a few sessions with M****** D***** at Marazion (magic mix of therapies). Priceless and expansive! I was very tempted not to indulge in this, given the apparently contracting world atmosphere. But the dross that turned into gold by putting myself and body on the receiving end means it's already paid for itself."

In other news, my stats tell me that someone who works for DaimlerChrysler has been researching machine guns on the internet. I wonder if they're planning bloody revenge for this.

I think Marazion consists of getting reiki in a flotation tank while angels stick crystals up your bottom and Ben Goldacre is tortured to death next door for being cool and funny and right.

If that's the case, I dread to think what Perranuthnoe might entail.

I thought global warming was going to mean that our atmosphere would expand, enabling me to fly to the moon in a glider (no carbon footprint me - I use the solar winds).

The shock news that our atmosphere is contracting has rather upset me.

"magic mix of therapies" Isn't that where you have a bit of a lie-down while a girl in a white coat flings mud and seaweed over you and tells you it's good for your chi? Or something like that? And expansive too, is it supposed to make you look fatter? It's all a bit New Age for me, the nearest I get to "releasing, revealing and restorative" is bunging a bit of Radox in the bath.

Actually, not a glider. I want to fly to the moon on a steam-driven hot-air balloon.

I wish I was on the Network Cornwall mailing list. It would make my life complete.

I was going to make some pithy comment about what it might have been but I think Tim's can't be beaten...

Please ignore my comments. I shall write an illustrated post about this at my place next Monday (I'm just leaving for a week).
