I have two copies of 'Dig Your Own Hole' because I forgot that I already owned a copy, and rather than being SEMINAL and ESSENTIAL, it's actually a bit shit.
I did have two copies of The Third Policeman, but have lent them both to friends having enthused about how great the book was. I now have two Third Policeman-sized gaps on my bookcase, which are rather less entertaining.
I also have two leftover aubergine involtini for lunch. Mmmm: tomato-y... No toast, though, I'm afraid.
I have only one copy of The Third Policeman. But I also have one copy of The Dalkey Archive, which contains vast tracts of the same prose, recycled after the Third Policeman was rejected.
well, thanks to you, i now have to spend part of every evening making new minimizer avatars with my little boy (who is very keen on variations of batman in hell)
billy, maybe you need that make-your-own-library software from Delicious Monster (if you have a Mac). I love the idea of being able to check books out and know who's got them.
Ooh, I can join in - I have not one but two hot water bottles almost literally attached to my body at the moment. And unsuprisingly, they aren't helping much. On the plus side, I'm definitely not cold though.
go visit tim footmans' place before you embark on this one....too many shoes and you'll have to write your next paper on how brad pitt's hair has changed over the years.
I have 2 copies of the best of Fairground Attaction. 3 if you count the CD copy. I don't even like Fairground Attraction, and have no idea how this happened.

Now I want to know...

you might start with an identical post to this one :}
Oo, I have TWO comments!
Nice avatar, Tom, although not one that couldn't be improved with the judicious inclusion of some kind of soft fruit, I feel.
Was "boyfriend" on the list? Miaow... ;)
No, Merkin, but 'driving licence' is, so you can see how excitingly scurrilous it's going to be.
I have 2...
...pieces of toast under the grill at present.
Yay!
(bloody broken toaster)
Pictures by Guido Reni?
Thanks for the Hype Machine tip btw - I've found a YouTube video of it now - I feel I'm getting close.
Do you have 2 ... Brilliant Minds?
Hmm, I have two copies of In Cold Blood. One was mine, the other was my old flat mate's. Somehow I managed to appropriate both copies in the move.
I have two copies of The Smashing Pumpkins' album Adore but one is snapped in two because a friend sat on the disk.
And two toasters, but one is shit and currently resides in a box in the attic. Sorry Billster!
I also have two shoes.
I have two copies of the Lonely Planet Guide to Tokyo. But I've still not been there.
(Tokyo, not the Lonely Planet.)
Bollocks.
Oh no, wait, that's me. Sorry.
(Hmmm, this one won't make my Big Book of Classic Del Comments. Sorry. Out soon!)

I lent out my single copy of the Third Policeman and have forgotten who I lent it too. Bah.
Bah indeed. No more bicycle and policeman fun for us, Billy.
That sounds a lot more bizarre on the page than it did in my head.

Does that count?
I quite like The Dalkey Archive, especially the whole underwater conversation with St Augustine. It's not a patch on The Third Policeman though.

Wheee, it's The Post That Wrote Itself! I have no idea what any of you are going on about, but sterling work, my friends.
I have two copies of The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer. Does anyone want one?
I have two routes to work and invariably I take the one that has more green spaces along it when I am feeling good about life.
