Every year it's covered in beautiful flowers (and bees) and it reminds me of my Mum (not that she was, as a rule, covered in bees I hasten to add). This year I'm going to try actually using it to cook with too - I've got some butternut squash in specially. Thank you for all those ideas.EllieTnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3607123.post-72214155230384510102010-06-13T23:28:12.002+01:002010-06-13T23:28:12.002+01:00Leave it in the garden to flourish and enjoy the f...Leave it in the garden to flourish and enjoy the foliage and the smell, particularly after rain.Vicus Scurrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13731007799031343701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3607123.post-57610462705628604852010-06-13T22:05:52.541+01:002010-06-13T22:05:52.541+01:00Also, buy and cook a packet of supermarket gnocchi...Also, buy and cook a packet of supermarket gnocchi, then fry it in melted butter and chopped sage.Bowleserisedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02974472204722759129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3607123.post-36968574907715118162010-06-13T19:07:23.941+01:002010-06-13T19:07:23.941+01:00Sage advice.

This helps to hold the rouget together, as it's a fish that disintegrates easily. (Did I come up with this? Did I hem-hem.)Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14227767014123557100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3607123.post-4818291664391468502010-06-13T18:14:51.827+01:002010-06-13T18:14:51.827+01:00Oh that's so lovely!

Soot died, sadly (too young, breast cancer) but the plant thrives and flowers bright blue and prolifically and is wonderful. To me, it's always Soot's sage and I love it to bits. xxJudy Astleyhttp://www.judyastley.comnoreply@blogger.com
